Popular Basketball Warm-Up Music

Any type of music can be used to warm up for a game. It is up to the person or people playing on what they can agree upon. There are some CD’s for sale that may appeal to the fan of basketball who likes to warm-up to music before playing. Amazon has two CD’s; one is “Basketball’s Greatest Hoop Hits” and the ESPN’s “Jock Jams.” The former mainly consists of R&B and early Rap, while the other jumps around from genre to genre such as Rock, Rap, and Techno. If you like variety while you are playing, then the ESPN disc would be the best bet. However, if you like a more urban style of music then the “Basketball’s Greatest Hoop Hits” disc is the one to purchase.

Common Music Ideas For Basketball Warm-Up

There is no defined genre as to what makes up basketball music. And if you asked a basketball fan what basketball music is, they would most likely say that it is anything that would get them excited and ready to play or watch a game. All kinds of music fit into this category and are not restricted to only one. Some people may prefer to warm-up to a more urban style of music like early rap or R&B. And some others may like to listen to rock music while they play. What is important is that the music lifts you and has an affect on your attitude and game. The more excited you are and ready to play, the better your chances are of performing well and enjoying yourself.
