A fan may want to read these poems when he or she is getting ready for the upcoming season or getting ready to play a game. Some of the most popular basketball poets are Maclen Zilber and Mel Glenn. They both, along with others, have books published which are available for sale in your local bookshop or online through various retailers such as Amazon or eBay. John Updike has even published a basketball poem titled, “The Ex-Basketball Player.” When you are buying your book of poems it is probably best to buy used as opposed to buying brand new. And if you decide to buy from an online auction house such as eBay, make sure that the book is in reasonable condition even if it is used and that the seller is reputable. You can check the seller by reading feedback responses left by previous customers and also by checking the seller’s rating.
