The 2005 NCAA Basketball Champion
The 2005 NCAA Basketball Champion was the North Carolina Tar Heels. They defeated Illinois 75-70 in the final game of the tournament. The final four teams of the 2005 tournament were Illinois, Louisville, North Carolina, and Michigan St. Illinois defeated Louisville and North Carolina defeated Michigan St. More information is available on each of these teams and the 2005 NCAA tournament on various sports websites.
The 2006 NCAA Basketball Champion
The 2006 NCAA Basketball Champion was the Florida Gators who defeated UCLA 73-57 in the title game. The final four teams were LSU, UCLA, George Mason, and Florida.
